Wow. It's been a month since I've written.

Things have settled around here, somewhat. The head clutter I was experiencing a few weeks ago has evaporated. I'm still drawing, still painting; we've decided to redecorate the living room and I'm filling the wall space with my paintings.

And I'm engaged. It's been so long since I was here that it seemed I'd already mentioned it. I asked Naima to marry me at midnight on her birthday, kneeling on our little bed in our little room.

I've made some new friends and gotten even closer to some old ones. Summer is here and my life is filled with projects and construction. I'm on the job hunt; that can be discouraging at times, but my general attitude towards discouragement is "eh, fuck off". I want to enroll in a Muay Thai class. I want to go back to school.

Naima is leaving for three days tomorrow. It's the first time we've been away from each other overnight since the two of us first met.

I hope that tonight, you end up having the same sort of sex I'm gonna' be having. I'll talk to you later.
