so cute- i have my big furry bunnyt slippers on and my bun, murphy, is snuggling with them....
the bunnies attack the big grinch slippers i have...
ok- so i decided to stay home again tonight- i was tired and honestly just didn't feel like dealing with people tonight. so i'm drinkin those yummy ass granny smith ciders and chillin'
life is good.
i bathed a dead turtle today- but we didn't know he was dead- he was all holed up in his shell and didn't come out- so i bathed hhim in some water in hopes that he would spring to life. nada. we pried his shell open and *he wasn't in there*- he had checked out...
got to hear some weeeiiiirddd stories about the, um, animal fluids that you sometimes get to, uh, wear home... i won't go into details (unless you beg!) but i almost got to wear a lot of bunny pus home on my shirt. it did a projectile... it was icky.
i didn't make it to the thrift store today- that will be tomorrow's project!
ok, i'm gonna post some pics now...

sorry I didn't get back to YOU sooner, i've been real busy here too. Thanks for your sweet comments regarding the Mercster! I absolutely could not imagine not being in his life full time. I mean the way I see it is he's an extension of me, and I think back to when I was a kid and how it would have sucked ass to have parents that really weren't all that into being parents. Not that my parents were perfect or anything, cause they werent, but I try to make sure that he has everything he needs, and has a fun life. Today was his first day of pre-school. he was soooo pumped for it too! he just loves being around other kids. it was kind of wierd though for me because i think alot of the parents were kind of wierded out by my appearance(full sleeves on both arms, both legs, and all the way around my neck except the front, not to mention the stretched ears etc.). oh well, nothing new, its just that i want to be recognized as the good dad that i am (and not some crazy that has no business in a pre-school). anyways, they'll get over it.............or not.
so you have a lampworking kit eh? actually that is the type of glassblowing that i do (and it is most definately considered glassblowing!) there are several different methods of glassblowing, and lampwoking aka flameworking is one. i use a big Carlisle "CC" burner torch, as well as a couple other smaller ones.
The type of glassblowing that Dale Chihuly does is called "off hand" glassblowing. He runs a school in Bellingham,WA called Pilchuck. it's one of the best in the world and very expensive. He actually lost his eye in a car accident and lost his depth perception, so he doesn't actually blow glass anymore. he designs the stuff on paper and has his apprentices do all the work. he is a glass master! so as far as people losing eyes and stuff while glassblowing, it's not that likely.
oh by the way, you have great looking junk. it looks so...........................great!
well looks like i'm rambling now!
talk to you later!
