Okay. That last blog wasn't meant to be a downer, but when I get into an introspective mood, these fears creep in on my thoughts. How about something a little more fun?
I was in Montreal for Thanksgiving. It was good to be back there, and see how my old neighbourhod has become gentrified, yet still the greasy spoon which serves poutine platters (yes, I said platters) stands defiantly amongst the boutiques and the cat grooming centre. I visited my old workplace, Electronic Arts Montreal or EA Visceral Montreal, as it has been re-branded. Things have definitely changed for the better there. It prompted me to re-think and re-consider certain things about my current situation. I don't know if New England is for me, to be honest. People here are too hard-edged and parochial. I miss the worldly metropolitan atmosphere of a city like Montreal. And really, the women here are, um, messed up, to put it kindly.
I will have to give this some thought.
Oh, and I got an XBox Kinect, and I'm about to try it out.
