It just struck me. I'm going to be 37 in 28 days. I think this is significant. I'm too old now to date anyone in their 20s, yet none of the women in my age demographic are interested in any of the stuff I like. Everyone I know is either married with kids or in long-term relationships heading toward marriage. The one time I did get close to settling down was in a fucked-up on-again, off-again long-distance relationship. Other than that situation, I've never been in an extended committed relationship. That's depressing.

I think this means I will be a bachelor until I die. Please don't let me be the creepy kind that people warn their children against.
