In hindsight, hearing that MJ is engaged to someone else forced me to face that malingering bit that was still stuck on on the fact that once she loved me enough to consider marrying me and was hoping she would change her mind. It was a cold bucket of water on my psyche, and now I'm wide awake and putting all my energies to moving forward. I sincerely wish she finds the kind of happiness with this screenwriter guy that she believed she couldn't get with me.

Me, I'm going down another road. First stop on the trip is San Diego.
