Wow.
So, yeah, I fell out of touch with SG for a while. Too bogged down working to even get on here and check out my ladies. And what's worse is, that last post I left up was a total downer. Hope I didn't bring anyone down with my negativity.
Life is what it is. I do what I can, so there's no use getting bent out of shape about it. Still working my shitty job, but now my hours have been cut, so at least that's the motivation I need to find something better. I just hate being ont he job hunt, but if I don't do it, then I've got no one to blame but myself.
So, I got to go home to visit my friends and family in South Carolina last week. My sister got married on July 3rd. It was a nice, small ceremony and I had a really great time with my new brother in-law's family. Got to go hang out with my friends for a couple days which was cool. But I have to say, as great a time as I had, I reaffirmed my decision to move out here. This amazing weather has won me over. And also there's so much more going on. I do love this place, even though I haven't found my proper place yet.
Oh yeah, and last month my car lit on fire. I was doing an electrical repair, and I wasn't able to fix the short in the wires. When I turned my blinker on, a fire lit under my steering column. I got it out with a garden hose, but not before it melted the whole dashboard and all of my instrument panels. The firemen came and tore up my car with a crowbar to be sure of no lingering embers. So, my Volvo got me out here, that was the important part. I knew it's time was coming and I'm glad it went out at my house and not on the interstate. So, I sold it for scrap and bought a bicycle with the money. Now I ride around L.A. and take the bus. It's really not as bad as I thought it would be.
So, even though some things have been shitty, I'm still looking up. If life gives you lemons, make lemonade, right? What a terrible saying. I guess it's true, though.![blush](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/blush.c659b594cdb0.gif)
