Coachella was so much fun. Except for trying to force 60,000 people out a 20-foot-wide exit into a dustbowl called a parking lot. But the whole experience was great--Ioved seeing Massive Attack (with Liz Fraser, no less!), Depeche Mode, and of course, Tool.
Tons of other fun stuff as well. Sylvia Massy was there with her Psycho Empire clothing label, and she and her husband could not have been nicer folks. Caught a glimpse of Madonna, but the crowd was way too big to get into it. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs were fun, as well as Franz Ferdinand. I also liked the Editors and Kanye West. Matisyahu left me a little cold, but Paul Oakenfold rocked the fuck outta the dance tent.
If you ever get the chance to go to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, do it. But fuck, do my feet ache today!
