Here's an unsolicited comment from someone who appreciates your style and spirit. I too had one partner after another who was really out just to treat me like crap! Use me. Abuse me. I could not understand, knowing there ARE good people in the world, and considered me one of them.

I had a break through. The good news was that it was all my fault who I had been with, and it was in my power to chose who I wanted to be with. The bad new was that it was all my fault who I had been with.

That all said, I took a break, and looked more deeply into the reasons I had habitually picked people who had used me and were very screwed up to begin with. I realized I did not have bad luck. I realized the world was not against me. I realized I was in control and it was ME who put myself into the bad situations because of misguided needs to "fix" the wounded and hurt people.

I stopped doing that. I lost my attraction after that for people who were going to lead me down into having to learn this lesson again, over and over.

I hope it's ok to mention my experience. I know that your situation is not my business, but I thought I'd just share. (:
