I (and my computers hard drive, which at this point I consider little more than a mechanical organ of my protocyborg metabody) was dead for a while there, but now Im back! And I hardly decomposed at all! Who wants a hug?

Waxed leather armor is lightweight, very durable, very easy to repair, and requires very inexpensive materials to produce. You can make a complete suit for about seventy dollars, including tools. Chain is cheap, too, but maille weaving is exponentially more time intensive and only really protects against a specific kind of damage, that from sharp, slashing weapons.
Plate production requires a minimum investment for tools and workshop space that is totally beyond my means.
I suppose I'll have to think about it, decide what is really important to me.
