the d2x is freaking amazing and will shoot at 8fps at 6.5mp or 5fps at its full 12mp
the eos 1d-mrkII will shoot at 8.5 fps at 8.1mp but only shoots at 8.1

and from what i gather, the cannon has a better sensor... so... gah!!!
