last post of the year and not really much to say. wasn't really into xmas this year, my dad had a heart attack about a week and a half before it and has been in the ICU ever since. he is gonna live, but there have been complications that will make for a long slow recovery for him.

heading to florida for two weeks... for work this week. next week i will be helping out the wounded warrior foundations Ride 2 Recovery. supporting the injured soliders and vets during their ride across the state. it's a great cause and i am happy to be a part of it.

it's hard to believe this year is almost over...seriously. i don't know where it went! i spent the better part of this year travelling for work. a LOT of hours of driving (3k-5k per month) and a lot of time in hotels. days, weeks, months of time all seem to get lost in a giant blur of what just happened and where am i now....

so far... a damn good day!

I have a busy couple of weeks of travel a head of me... Florida, Texas, Maryland, North Carolina, Socal, Vegas. Close to a week in each location. I'm generally not one to be able to sit still in one location for very long but this is getting a little out of hand, for a bit to long.

heading out to socal tomorrow for a handful of days. after that it's up into the mountains north of tahoe for a week! it's for work but i'm sure i can fit some fun in there as well

i want to go camping... time in the woods is always good for my soul.

i am in serious need of a mental vacation. not sure what it's going to take or where i need to go, if anywhere, but my brain is fried and i can't concentrate on anything anymore. and it's not fried from drugs or alcohol either. too much work, way too much travel for work, stuck in a routine on the off chance i am home....

well, heading up through Virginia on the way to Baltimore tomorrow. it's a looong drive but i've done it before and i'll be doing it again in a couple of weeks. gonna stay in the Baltimore area through the weekend and head back home either mon. or tues. yipeee
