went to the dave attell/lewis black show tonight, had a blast. mitch hedberg opened, so i was really happy with that. he rocks. dave and lewis were funny as always, but most of their sets were their current/regular material, but it was still good to hear my favorites with a slightly different spin.
my date enjoyed herself, and for that i'm glad. i was afraid she might not have a good time, but she's really cool. i think she and i are just gonna be friends though. i didn't really feel any spark. we got along well, but we already have known each other for a while. i just don't see anything more than friendship coming out of it. that's not a bad thing at all.
it's just good to feel relaxed around a girl again, for a change.

I have probably told you this before, maybe twice.. but once you are completely comfortable in your own skin.. that's when the opposite sex seems to sneak up on you and take you by surprise
You're a sweet guy.. i think that you have someone good waiting for ya around the corner, you just dont know it yet!
(and not in a "they are going to mug you" sort of way)
I have no idea when i'll be playing in town, I'm just playing drums for an old friend (one of the Cadets if you follow local music) who's going to play a few solo shows.
