Working on a position piece for the college's literary journal. Going to do "Responsibilities of a game designer in the future of gaming." Just got notes jotted down at the moment, but I think I should be able to flesh it out fairly well. My writing is fairly solid, but if anyone is a bad ass proof reader and wants to give it a look when I'm done feel free to let me know.
Just a warning though, it will contain a fair number of nerdy references.
Had a decent four days off even though I've been sick for 3 1/2 of them. Dayquil makes the best of things. I'm loving the weather, hoping it sticks around and doesn't dip out on us again anytime soon. I want to start running again, but I don't know if my knee will allow it. Getting old sucks pretty hard.
We went and saw Hot Tub Time Machine. It was pretty well over the top and ridiculous. Not as good as say The Hangover, but still it had it's moments. John Cusack is timeless in a way. I can generally forgive him for a lot (unless we're talking 2012).
Also watched The Fourth Kind, which would have been a terrifying but jumbled mess if the "real" footage was actually well.....real. Unfortunately since it's all just made up and fake, the movie ends up just a jumbled mess.
Watched Paper Heart, which I thought was decent. Kind of an interesting idea and a cute story, I think it just would have worked well if they used non-famous people to do it. Would have felt a little bit more authentic to me.
Watched a documentary called Operation Homecoming. Basically about soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan who are given creative writing classes and then write about their experiences in war. It's sad and beautiful. The depth of some of the stories is often astounding. I highly recommend it.
I need to shave.
And I am out of things to say.

The CD-rom is because I'm doing a distance-learning course, so it may be hard to find, but there may be a series; who knows. It's still kind of weird.
I should not respond directly after naps. Zombie-state. Mm.. kbye.
