How neat
I'm impressed
how did you come to be
so blessed?
Random update time. Valentine's Day was really good this year. Our stay in and relax idea went really well. We slept in, woke up around 1. Went to Panera to get some lunch. Looked up a recipe we both decided would be delish, and went to the grocery store to get some ingredients. Lemon rosemary chicken, with Parmesan mashed potatoes, and roasted carrots.
The puppy seems to have made a full recovery from getting spayed and is back to being a little log of pure energy.
Also the kitten has stopped worrying about the well-being of the puppy, and is back to avoiding it and hiding in baskets.
My macbook for school showed up today.
It's a bit rough so far. It took me 10 minutes to get dropbox to install, I accidentally deleted the HD icon, and I got a firefox icon stuck on the desktop for about 5 minutes. I'm figuring it out slowly but surely at the moment. If anyone is a mac expert and wants to help me, and probably have a good laugh at me let me know.
Speaking of school, it starts in 13 days, which is crazy close. Even crazier is we're starting to work overnights officially that week, so I'll know my schedule for at least the next 6 months instead of waking up every day to see if I have any missed calls from work telling me my schedule for the day. This makes me happy.
ALSO going on that week are my birthday, and consequently our trip to NYC. I have a huge huge love for NYC. Something about that city just puts me in a good place. It's like it vibrates on the same frequency I do, and we just match up. I get very blissful when I am there, and terribly depressed every time I have to leave.
This is going to be by far the best NYC trip yet. We are going to see this:
Which is full of more talent then I could ever imagine. We also have VIP tickets to this:
Which I am also excited for. We are also going with some friends to this:
Which has my nerdiness in a glow. We are also FINALLY getting to do the statue of liberty. You're allowed to go in now, which also has me insanely excited.
So yeah, probably going to be the craziest week of my life, but I cannot wait. I might also try and talk the wife into making the trek over into brooklyn again and going to saved tattoo and maybe finally getting my Vonnegut tattoo. But money is a little tight so we'll see.
Other than that snow is pretty much the only other topic right now![blackeyed](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/punch.6a3d8a00b8f8.gif)

sounds fun and glad to hear the pootch is in good health and back to being a ball of energy haha.
I loved this line: It's like it vibrates on the same frequency I do, and we just match up. -- this is exactly, exactly how I feel about certain things ..
New York sounds epic. Good planning; kudos.
And, the obligatory fuckthesnow comment -- as, I'm sorry, but wtf is with it still going? I mean, .. that's all I'll say. Really.
