Took the kitten to the vet yesterday for her last round of shots. She did really good, I was proud of her. They distracted her with cheese, and she loves cheese, so she didn't notice a thing while the doctor gave her her shots.
She did sleep with one eye open after we brought her home though:
I can't believe the weather, it's beyond nice. I wish places with warmer climates had milder summers. I've got a gameplan for avoiding the usual wintertime depression this year. First and foremost I want to work on some music again. It's been far far too long since I really sat down and wrote anything, and with the new guitar, I'm itching to put it through it's paces. If I get anything solid I'll probably call a few people up and see if they want to swing by with a mic and do some yelling. That way by the time it gets warm I'll have achieved my zen again.
Secondly I want to get myself some sort of project with the camera. I used it a lot last year, and had a few people/places to shoot, but I've sort of gotten off track lately. I haven't even re-installed photoshop since I put in Win7.
Also colder weather means movie time. I have a long list of "must see" flicks, including:
Antichrist
Eichmann
Fix
Until the Light Takes Us

Let me know how your gameplan goes. I was excited to read that you had one, but .. none of those things are really options for me. Such as, I have a guitar, but can't do anything on it. Meh.
I need to come up with a gameplan of my own pretty soon.
I very much agree with your weather conundrom -- but I think very soon, I'll get over the "HOTHOTHOT SUMMER OMG" problem -- I can take it way better than the winter issue. I'll dig my roots up one of these days & tumble on.

Yeah, this is exactly what I wanted it to be. I was a little concerned, because when I initially went in and said "typewriter font," they said "times new roman!" and I said .. "UHHHHHHHHHHH, .. no. Certainly not. I mean, old school .. typewriter. As in, deteriorated." "Ohhh .. courier!
I was disheartened. So I went online and looked it up. It's called 1942 Report. Fuck yes, that sounds perfect, I'll take it, etc, etc. ;]
I go to Good Life [aka: Akron Ink] -- have since it opened. Jeremiah's my bud; I wouldn't let anyone else pierce me. So while I'm not loyal to anyone like that, ink-wise, I tend to stay loyal to the business, anyway. Well .. for now. I have ideas for other tats that are more complex .. that I'll probably stray for, because I know these guys' styles, and .. it just wouldn't be ideal.
But, this only took twenty minutes, and I'm happy with it, and I love being there, and hanging out, soooooo. Horray. :] Was a good Sunday morning.
