Well, in 26 hours I will be in the air on my way back "home" for the first time in 2 years. Shit. Hell, my first time back in the States in 2 years. It should be interesting. It will be nice to see some people and I have to go through my storage space and get rid of a ton of stuff. I haven't used/worn it in 2 years I don't think I need it anymore. I need to make my possessions as lean as possible. Wherever I end up when this contracting thing is done I want the move to be as easy as possible.
I have made the mistake in the past of coming "home" for leave/vacation and end up being lulled into a false sense of missing the place. When I went "home" the last time for 3 years I was going nuts by the 2nd year. I need to remember why I left Pittsburgh and why I left the US. I do love a lot of things about Pittsburgh though. Shit. I'm a pack rat and I just can't through stuff away, I love to keep stuff, for me it's always cool going through old boxes and finding notes and stuff that I have not seen in years.
