Started work on screenplay rewrites. Had to start off by researching the psychoanalytical aspects of what I'm writing. It may be fictional, and part horror film, but that's no justification for bad science. Most of my night was spent reading psychology reports, or reading testimonials of those who suffer from schizophrenia. Not exactly the happiest of subjects.
I ended up with about 3 pages of notes on treatments, therapy, personality traits, and ideas for how to do the horror side of the film. I haven't even re-read the script yet, but it feels like this one is gonna have a lot of changes made (mainly to improve all that bad science I had before). Research, kids... it's important.
Today, I start doing the actual rewriting process, which means more notes, and making this flow chart. Currently, I'm contemplating how to pull of what could be my greatest (or absolute worst) plot twist in the history of my 9 year screenwriting career. This is my contemplation face. Most people call it a scowl.
And I've decided that if I can make some short films, get them released, and get some kind of attention, this will be the first feature length film I try to make (not counting the ones where I didn't know how to do anything filmmaking related).
Have a great day, I've got more scowling and thinking to do.
