when are you kids headed out to sac? i suppose i could put you two ladies up for a night or two. you have to promise to be on your best behavior though and also be nice to the neighbors -- they get rowdy...

ya well,i don't think we would have a place to stay anyway. which actually irritates me. if i had friends coming to town the first thing i would do is offer my home. oh well-things on sg land right now have made me bitter again anyway....

wahhhh...i'm going to miss you tonight! i don't know what the hell happened on wed...i kept falling asleep on the couch and of course,missed everything. i am serious about the sleeping disease-all i want to do right now is lay down. i have to leave at 9 and just got out of the shower...ya for having wet hair for the next three hours-how tacky

I'm going to take swimming lessons this summer so I can dive into the North Sea and freeze to death rather than drowning...
But right now I'm thinking of climbing into the hottest, bubbliest bath and lying there and soaking it all away. I might read "the old man and the sea2 and have some wine too, try not to drop them both in the water....
I've realised that sometimes you just have to have faith in the small things (baths, tea, friends you've made over an internet porn site...) and let the big stuff sort itself out.
That's the theory anyway.
And I will try to get a photo up at some point. I don't have a scanner though, and I'm an ugly fuck so I don't doubt that the image you have of me in your head is probably a whole lot better than the reality.

I guess this journal entry was there over my birthday, so I can safely say those days were interesting of sorts as well. In case you havn't heard I:

-hit on a 16 year old.
-told a car full of very large gangstas "FUCK YOU" as loud as I could while flicking them off.
-tackled melissa joan hart.
-puked right next to the toliet in a stripclub
-took off my shoes and pants on Sunset Blvd.
-told a trilobyte he's sexier then billy corgan "no matter what that dumb bitch of a bassist says." Figure that one out.
-played Dance Dance Revolution for the first time even thought I even had tried to make a failed documentary on it years back.

and that was my birthday.

I did once however sing Nicole Kidman's part of the Elephant Love Medley as loud as I could in the middle of a crowded theater playing Moulin Rouge.

so, uh, where ya been? I've missed talking to ya! These nights when I dont get to bed make me ever so lonely and I need someone to talk to. Who better than you?

I've had a best friend since before preschool, joe. He moved off to Chicago for school. and to be honest, it kinda sucks but it gave me an excuse to visit Chicago over winter.

and when we see each other, it's all that much sweeter. We catch up on good times. and on bad. When I saw him in winter we both had some really bad times to catch up on. A cancer death in both our lives. One was a 3 year old bunny. One was a good friend of Joe's and aquantance of mine. Both far too young.

But life moved on. And he's back in town this week as a matter of fact. I saw him yesterday and he told me the greatest stories. The kind of stories that make me wish I actually did go to college. (I'm mostly self-taught because what good is college going to do an editor.) I usually don't regret that desicion. But I just...wish I could put a name to it.

I guess I want to have it all. you know? Have my cake and eat it too.

oh well.

I don't really know what to say because I don't go to the beach and I really don't remember my dreams very often so I can't relate.

I do know that I've become hungry. And then Dave_H is talking about corndogs for some odd reason. And L is talking about strawberry rhubarb pie and I still don't know what that is. and bankman is now talking about nachos.
