It has occured to me that it is indeed the new year... Its officially 2007. I see no difference. Clearly I have to be the one to inniciate change, but overall...My new year was not kicked off very well, but an Absolutely Fabulous marathon and three Eddie Izzard specials back to back and a bottle of the Captain helped cheer me up a bit. And the promise of new SG merch in the mail and some new accesories to help flash up my rag top on the way, I feel a little better. But I haven't even felt proper enough to even do my homework which I've had a shit load of time to do....So I might be screwed on that...but I'm relying on my procrastination skills that got me through high school with exceptional grades. But I think I can get through ok. Never failed a class and I'm not starting now. I think I just need to see some friends....That should help me get out of this rut a little.
In movies, however, I finally saw Hostel. I must say, when they say that this movie will put an end to backpacking in Europe...I think they were right. Tarantino can make a movie. That is my firm belief. A damn good movie. It reminded me of the Saw trilogy, in that, some scenes just make you squirm or flinch or look away, or feel phantom pains but you can't help but watch. And despite the poor ratings and reviews the Black Dahlia got in Rue Morgue, that was a brilliant movie. Well I need to be getting to sleep soon...My break has come to an end...good riddens. I'm so tired of the holidays... All they do is annoy me. And lately...drink more.
