Another infrequent update:
I watched Donnie Darko the other day. wow. A new favorite movie--- it made me think for days. theres so may questions without one answer and it has a great soundtrack to boot. also saw sky captain. this movie is pretty rad too. very orson wells war of the worlds noir pulp scifi. a killer theatrical mess of all my nerdy scifi likes. On the music front--- my brother just sent me a slew of cds 60+ or so of new music to check out; some of the highlights being the new gluecifer, new briefs, new turbo acs, live turbonegro, and a devil dogs tribute. i should be aurally satisfied for weeks. work wise, switched shifts now working from 4 in the afternoon to midnight. sleeping when the sun's up sucks. the upshot is my shift supervisor is not a dickhead. Also went to the soldier of the month board and did pretty good but didnt win. Apathy makes it ok. Glad its over, had about a month of stress leading up to 15 minutes of answering inane pointless army related questions asked by retarded first sergeants who cant speak clear English to save their lives. All I wanted to do afterward is celebrate by getting hammered but no not in Iraq. Suck.
Got a new book---- the stupidest angel by Christopher Moore--- a riot. I actually find myself laughing out loud.
Other than that- my days are so very repetitive only 60 some days left to go allegedly--- thank god.
