i spent almost 2 weeks in turkey, and that was a new experience.. i was not on holiday, but it did turn out into a very relaxing experience, and i don not regret it.
being somewhere with no urban scene, no friends around, just nice food and plenty of time to walk about, stay in the hotel room, read a lot and enjoy time with my sugar babe it was probably the first break i had in a long long time. we did our business meetings, drunk loads of turkish coffee and tea, had some of the most amazing bbq fish and took about a thousand pictures!
we went to some bizantine ruins in the middle of nowhere, which took about 3 hrs to get to and 3 hrs to come back, for a visit of an hour to some old rocks..
also managed to spend a few hrs in istanbul, amazing city, and saw the tallest church, built in 500 AD and turned into a mosquee in 1493.. you could feel history in there!
