Since I've finally figured out how to post pictures in my journal, I'm going to start a little thing called "freaky animal of the week". I've been meaning to do it for a while now... It is my little showcase dedicated to the animal that has captured my interest, that I find freakishly odd, yet kinda cute too. This weeks animal is the armadillo. What a weird little concept for an animal... Although they are common in someplaces, how many of you actually "look" at the everyday animals running around you. I never used to until I noticed the commando squirrels in my neighbourhood... So here ya be: the armadillo in all it's glory!

Reading break starts monday... I'm glad. I'm going to try and go to my cottage seeing as it'll probably be the last winter I'm ever there -which is pretty much ok because it averages 40 below and the only heat source is a wood stove, and although there is electricity, there's no running water, or phone or tv or computer access. So basically I'll be going camping in february in northern ontario!. But I love my cottage, so it'll be good. I'm planning on doing a new shoot or three while I'm up there. Mostly blue ones...
