#5 nerds are tangy
So, I wake up on friday morning and check my work email like I always do, and there's nothing there... so I check my website and there's nothing there. Oh well, the sevrer must be down. Later that evening, the server is still down. Saturday morning it appears as though the server is still down, so I call customer service and they tell me my domain name expired friday morning. Now, I would think it would be good business policy to notify clients of such expirations! I am apparently alone on this. I have since paid my dues, and was advised that my site and email would be up and running again within 24 hours. I'm really beginning to re-evaluate my desicion concerning this domain provider (and incidently web hoster) since my site is still not up, 48 hours later. Now the 24 hour thing could possibly be construed as 3 working days, falling under the business day screw-over clause, but the 'person' I was dealing with saturday specifically said that if paid on saturday, the site should be up again by sunday night. I fail then to see why this is becoming so complicated! ARG! Can anyone tell me of a really excellent hosting provider? The domain thing I've already paid for, but hosting renewal comes up in about a month (I remember this from last year when I had this exact same trouble with them!) Oddly, the domain renewal thing went fine way back then... Anyways, I'm switching my hoster. Maybe I'll serve myself... And on top off all that, I can't spell today! GRahh!!
But my midterms went well.
