As much as I love the english language, I find that songs in languages that have latin roots are usually so much more moving. My emotions seem to get gripped much more easily with italian, french or spanish when it comes to lyrics. I'm not saying there haven't been any great english lyricist. I just find that germanic languages tend to stimulate my intellect more than my emotions. I really wonder why. Maybe I'm just insane.
I got a modelling proposition the other day. As I'm just starting, I don't know what an adequate rate should be. I think I may need to get in contact with people in the business if I want to do this seriously.
