I hadn't thought of this place since my membership expired and so I was rather puzzled by the fact that someone seems to have offered me a free membership for 3 months. I have no idea who you are , however. Would you please reveal yourself so that I may thank you more properly?

I got one too

Fantasia Festival has finally arrived! As a film nerd I cannot help but salivate at the thought of having a multitude of amazing genre movies at my disposal for an entire month. I wasn't planning on attending anything this year as my budget is pretty tight and I had pretty low expectations for what this year's line up would be, but low and behold it...

There is a great injustice in the world that I feel hasn't been dealt with properly. An injustice so unjust it just boils my blood to even think of it. Many of you will think it silly of me to bother with such a trivial matter and, you would be entirely right. It is silly. The injustice I shall reveal to you today is the...

I agree with Northern on the issue of both the word 'cunninlingus' and 'scrotum'.
'Scrotum' should only be legally said by those with very rough Scotch accents, for maximum objectionable effect.
You can never have enough words for the female genetalia.
In a novel I wrote where people are bio-mechanical, males have 'wires' and females 'bulbs'. This way around I think the male term is the less pleasant-sounding, but then again its quite a feminist book

I watched Catherine Breillat's "Sex is Comedy" yesterday and I was really impressed with her directing skills. I really like women directors. I've watched a lot of movies that are considered to be great films and, although I do understand their merits, I can never truly get into them as a lot of them depict women in a way that borders on Misogyny ( Not...

I love Breillat!!!!

and I agree that you should check out Taymor's version of "Titus" it is amazing.

I'll see if I can come up with some titles for you later as none are coming up for me right now
sophronia:
I highly recommend Baise-Moi
both the book, and the movie version

edit to add:

some people might find this movie a little offensive

Okay..Let's update..

The only reason I wish I could be much skinnier is because I could wear whatever I want without looking like a slut. It's true! I saw this little asian girl the other day wearing knee high boots and booty shorts and it looked totally fine. She still looked wholesome and completely non-sexual. I wear a knee length skirt however, and I look...

I didn't realize that you had submitted a set to SG. Sorry to hear it was rejected. Don't be discouraged by that though, they reject lots of sets, even from existing SG's. You should post the rejected set. I'd love to see it. Yes, that means I'm hoping to see ya naked. smile

Honestly, I'm sure you look amazing, and I'm sure plenty of people here would agree, regardless of whether your set was accepted or not. Sets aren't rejected simply because they don't like the way you look.

Yes, I meant the many people on SG who are good at photography, not just the staff photographers. You can use anyone you want, not just the few on staff. And a lot of them are quite good. You can find those with good references (so at least you can weed out any weirdos) in the SG Hopefuls group.

I spend way too much time feeling shame about my body, don't do the same. But I understand all about being insecure about your own appearance. And don't worry if you're babbling, I don't mind. smile

i cannot possibly imagine you looking like a slut in any way, shape or form.

take care.

Lily Tomlin is hot. I don't care if she's 80*. I would tap that. I would tap that good.

It's come to my attention that everyone always has a "type" that they rarely veer from . It doesn't necessarily matter if the person is particularly attractive at all, as long as they have key features that one likes. This is why no matter how skanky...

Ovarium is probably the best bet for floatation tanks in Montreal - you can get a 1 hour float and a 1 hour massage for $100.00.

I've always wanted to do LSD, but I've always been apprehensive because there's so much stuff that isn't the real deal, as one of the major manufacturers got busted a year ago. But it's definitely on the list as soon as I can find a good batch.

I agree with you - people overemphasive mind or body (I used to be all-mind until a few years ago) but it's rare to meet the individual who has a healthy appreciation for both. Feeling everything is the best - never hold back.

I have a bit of an obsession with eyes. I can't look at people I the eyes. I can't stand to be watched ( Your gaze hits the side of my face - magazine ad). My nickname is the fear of eyes.

Yesterday in my communication and interactions class we did something very special. We were told to be in groups of two: one would...

you weren't rambling, it was interesting.

i've never thought of it like that and although i would hate to lose my eyesight and never be able to see my children again, it would be an interesting experiment to undertake.

Sounds like a mild version of a sensory dep tank - certainly an interesting sensation.

and now for a completely irrelevant post.

Yesterday I watched a movie called "The man who cried" in which Johnny Depp had a small role. I have always been of the opinion that that man could do no wrong. I really thought he was the greatest actor of our generation...but I was wrong. I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I...

i guess they don't have pandas in the petting zoo, but they always look so nice and cozy, all sleepy and napping and lazily chomping on bamboo... it'd be fun to be a panda for a day.

how bout you?

Hard to tell if "Secret Window" and "Finding Neverland" were Johnny's fault, but he didn't help.

Now, "Ed Wood" -- there's a movie!!

" Son corps etait une promesse d'extase..."

As much as I love the english language, I find that songs in languages that have latin roots are usually so much more moving. My emotions seem to get gripped much more easily with italian, french or spanish when it comes to lyrics. I'm not saying there haven't been any great english lyricist. I just find that germanic...

Wow, I just had a moment of Cartesian doubt.
Do you sometimes get the sense that your entire life is just an elaborate dream? Yesterday night it felt as if I'd experienced a rare moment of lucidity. You know those you get when you're dreaming when you realize that things aren't making as much sense as you thought they were? I don't think I woke...
