There's always differences and limitations. One of my good friends that I watched the first two seasons with was reading the books too, she got mad a few times with the direction they took some of the characters. It's tough keeping them divided especially when they make a major change of any kind. I read the Sword of Truth series, it's like 13 books maybe 14 now and then watched the show. The show was still really fun but they made some strange changes.

Yeah, @pyrdaemon it truly is that way with every book turned movie/show. I have so many friends that were so angry at the Harry Potter movies and I love both the books and movies for what they are. I just can't stand most Stephen King books being made into shows/movies because they always drastically fuck it up. And what the hell is the deal with The Hobbit movies? There shouldn't be three of them. I have not read the Sword of Truth series though, or seen the show. Are they something you would recommend?
