Hot chicks work at the Coroner's office.....
I watched 7 autopsies Thursday. It took me about 30 minutes to get comfortable and not feel faint. I was fine until they started cutting the person's ribs with pruning shears.
I didn't throw up. But my face got all hot and I started sweating from EVERY PORE IN MY BODY.....I sat down for awhile and after about 30 mins I was able to stand up and get into the mix of things.
This wasn't sit back behind the glass and watch from above....
This was one inch away smelling the stomach contents and having blood splashed on your scrubs.
I think everyone should see an autopsy. You really understand the body and it's just something you should see.
On that note it was the most brutal thing I'd ever seen. The bodies are sliced in a Y pattern. the muscle and fat is trimmed from the rib cage. The use the shears to cute your sternum out to get access to the heart and lungs and all the other stuff. They cut your organs out and weight them then set them to the side. All the extra misc. stuff gets tossed into a bucket with a red Bio hazard bag in it. They document everything, take several samples of stuff like blood, urine, stomach contents, etc. etc. So Yah got this body with nothing in it, and then they cut where your tongue attaches to your mouth and pull your throat out with your tongue attached. They slice your organs like steaks and then toss them into the bucket. Your head is cut from ear to ear over the top of your scalp, they pull your scalp over your face and the other half just kinda hangs out of the way. They have to cut the connective stuff from the scalp and rip at it forward in order to get it over your eyes and nose. Electric bone saw comes out and they cut the top of your skull off and pull out your brain and pituitary gland....which looks like a bean...and they clean out the skull of all the connective stuff. When its all done they stitch it all back up and stuff the red bio hazard bag back into the body and send it off to the mortuary.
They cut,rip, and pull.
It has to be the most depressing job ever....Yet this cute little Mexican girl had a little cartoony mouse-like voice and she was skipping around and I thought "Wow....that's the cutest....and strangest thing I'd ever seen"
yah they were all hot chicks....I bet they could shoot anyones pick-up line down too.
It was amazing to see everything., and I was really into it after the initial shock of it. They all treated me so great.
Its hard to see a person reach into the lower abdomen of a human and pull out there reproductive organs and bladder....
oh and I hit a big as turkey bird thingy today on the way back from class and hit damn near knocked out my grill on my car.....I fixed it, but it rattles a bit I think.
Sushi was good. Thanks y'all in SGSac that came out. Oh and Becca for putting up with us at her place of work.

I am thinking drinks on top of vicodin might not make the best first impression! but i think a pre surgery party night will most definitely be needed. How long are you here in Petaluma for before leaving again?
