I'm sorry I'm terrible at comment replying lately.
I've been reading a lot about the publishing industry and am really excited to get my book out there. I can do this!
I'll be leaving for Paris/Amsterdam this Friday, and I'll be gone until Jan 3.
From there, my plan is to put in as much energy to edit my book as I did to write it. I've printed and hand-bound a first draft of the book and it's amazing to hold in my hands. As I flip through it, every passage I read seems to be pretty delicately written, so I'm hoping I can focus on typos and structure, and not worry about editing for style.
I want to have a solid draft by the end of January, along with some market research. I'll start sending out query letters then. The idea is to get this moving as soon as possible while my subject matter happens to be in style.
Going to bed early so I can read more about the industry!!
