I wait all week for the weekend. So I can see friends, edit my novel, process photos, play my ukulele, nosh on bagels, hula hoop, get out of the house, and get some rest.
But two days really is not enough time to do all these things I intended.

(This photo of me is in a local paper. I should note that it is the third time I have been naked in this particular paper.)
This weekend I:
- Finished reading Bastard out of Carolina
- Started reading Never Let me Go
- Bought a book with a friend on the cover.
- Ate bagels and got absolutely drenched on the walk to the shoppe.
- Volunteered in a political campaign office
(calling voters to remind them to mail their ballots*....though I haven't completed my own!)
- Took a college friend out for dinner.
- Helped a friend out planning her SG set.
- Learned to play a Bob Dylan song on my uke.
- Tentatively planned my wedding to a girl I have never even kissed
(she says we must have paper lanterns!)
- Rather blew off a friend of a friend I said I'd take for coffee.
- Bathed!
- Edited photos of a client's wedding (some photos. halfway there).
After all those little things I did, it's no wonder I'm tired. And yet, I feel like I got nothing done at all, and now it's back to work, and I'll start counting toward this next weekend again, thinking somehow magically I'll have more time.

As far as what I'm up to - I'm finally just about done with pharmacy school. I've got to complete a total of 7 rotations, five weeks each at different sites in order to graduate and get my pharmacist license - two clinicals with a faculty member in a hospital (both of which I finished), two in a retail pharmacy (in a supermarket, chain store (CVS/Walgreens/RiteAid/WalMart/Target), independent store, etc), two electives (I chose two nearby pharmaceutical companies), and one hospital dispensing rotation. I finished three of the seven so far and will be done with the rest by March and will officially graduate in May. It's strange to not be in classes anymore but I'm pretty happy with not having to study so much.
