Welcome back, I use to live in Modesto

Hey, thanks. And good to hear another person survived to make it out of Modesto. I'm about to move to the East Bay real soon. Need to get out of this place... again. Hopefully for the last time.

i have a sudden fear for the state of the world. with all its beauty and wonders the vile and evil seem to prevail and stain those things that i find good. it was a nice day out today. not blistering hot or raining like it has been the past few weeks, and i decided to go outside. brought my skateboard with me and just took in the sights. even got to practice a little bit of arabic with some locals. ate a shwrama and ran into some friends form work. so i was starting to enjoy my new place of residence for once. then just as i started to forget that i was in a ultra conservative country full of people that hate Americans i saw something that made my blood boil. in a car across the street where i was sitting there was a family. of course the woman was sitting in the back seat and the children were hopping all over the car like its cool to be driving along at 50 mph without a seatbelt on. then the husband looking rather pissed off reaches back and hits his wife. closed fist! full on clocks his bride like a man. the car then stops and he drags her out of the back seat up to the front, gets out of the car and pulls her with him by her abbya and starts slapping the ever loving shit out of her.
now maybe i don't know what my purpose in life is... but i feel that its somehow my job and obligation as a human being to do everything in my power to protect those that can not protect themselves. but if i had intervined then i would have gone to jail. because it's legal for men to beat thier wives here. a woman is an object. a thing. and i'm an American... i am scum and immoral. so there i sat having to watch a man beat his wife with my fists clenched and pretending that it didn't happen. like every other person on the road. if i were God, or Allah, that man's dick would be cut off and used to fuck him up his own ass. fucker should die form some horrible disease.
on a brighter note, i may go to japan for training for 4 months. never been to japan and realy look forward to seeing yet another country. i'm sure it won't dissapoint. plus i have many friends there that say nothing but good things.

so anychance we can meet up before you leave?
