It's weird how even while out of school, summers still feel like they're summers. I mean, I'm realizing just now that I'll be spending most of it in other states, away from many of my dearest friends, where they'll be out of college for a few months, or out of highschool in some cases, and I'll be missing out on their free time. I go to California on June 3rd, come back sometime in Mid-July, and I have half of a month to spend with my friends before I go out on tour.
I love this too. So.. I'm going to California, to live in the woods, and build a log cabin. I wish I were making that up, it's just so hilarious. Should I get a racoon-hat, an axe, and start smoking out of a pipe too? God, and then tour. I've never been in a band I appreciated before, until now, and it's been a few months now since our bands merged, and we have a CD coming out, on a label who would never screw us, and we're going on TOUR. I just feel so.. I feel like I'm playing house, and I'm a kid.. only it's playing musician, and it's supposedly real. I feel like such an ass for talking about it as much as I do, but honestly, not very much else is going on right now. So, that aside, This is where we'll be on what days.. I figure if anyone see's this and wants to hit one up.. drop me a line and I'll let you know where and all that good stuff.

Oh yeah, and you'd probably want to hear it first, haha. Well, there's a backstory. I was in this band with my good pal, Nick. We were called Ette. Around the same time, my best friend in the WORLD, Ben, had just started his band Christions + Lions. Joining him in his efforts, was his brother, and my friend, Sam. One day we decided to breed our two bands together, and it's lovechild was then born under the alias Sharp Teeth. We recorded our songs using our Mac Laptops to put online to show people, and began playing shows around the area, supported by our crazily loyal and loving intimate fanbase. (which is weird. I never ever would have imagined having fans, real live fans). Anyways, we recorded a split cd, of the two seperate bands, to illustrate that the two bands have merged together. That's coming out in May. (One of the songs on the Ette link is on the new CD. I believe one of the songs on the Christians + Lions link is also on the new CD)
Grr. Ok, so I write about this because this is mostly how we get fans. It's all grassroots, DIY, tell a friend who tells a friend.. I can't get enough feedback about what to improve on, or what people like. I just love discussing this because this is the most passionate I've felt for anything that wasn't a female in SO long. So.. perhaps, if you come across this entry.. do check out one or two songs? Maybe come see us if we're in your area.
