Earlier this week Exxon reported the largest profits earned last quarter in U.S. history. Tonight I discovered, via Wikipedia, that "Royal Dutch Shell reports record-breaking annual profits of 13.2 billion (19.4 billion, US$23.5 billion); the highest ever for a British or Dutch company."
Damn. George W. Bush's War on Iraq IS doing wonders for the oil industry isn't it? How much money did he make out of all of this? Or his buddies perhaps?
