I had a great day today. I got up. Went to work. Was productive there. Went to Recycled Cycles clearance sale and bought some much needed rain gear and shades. Made some Norwegian crumb cake cookies - Krum Kake - at a friends house and then went out on a hike to Rattlesnake Ledge with another friend from med school. It was a gorgeous day and the views were amazing. We got down from the mountain just after sunset and lost his car! It wasn't too bad actually. I park ranger drove past us and pointed us into the direction of the lot that we'd overlooked and it was right there. Just 50 ft from us. It was nearly pitch black out there and hard to tell what a trail from a road was.
Then we had dinner at Fatburger and saw a play at his church.
Finally, I came home to find that the LADY DAWGS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!! Our volleyball team spanked the number one seeded Cornhuskers. Yeah!!!!!
I must tell you, volleyball shorts are so hot on the ladies too. But, that's besides it all. I'm just really stoked for them.
Now I'm just chillin at home watching The Son's Room on DVD. It appears to be related to my own search for meaning and acceptance. So, it's right up my alley.
