I always (often...) blog so early in the morning. I suppose I just need my dose of pretty ladies before a long day of classes! Hehe.
I don't think my best girlfriends would really understand my SG love. I think they'd either think it was weird because I'm straight, or pervy. But I'm pervy... so they might not be surprised.
I am getting really excited about my trip in the spring. Like really, really excited I was dreaming about it last night kind of excited. I also kept waking up thinking about muscles and Emerson. I know that sounds strange, but for my American Spiritual Masters philosophy course we were given the oppurtunity to write an essay for a project that's going to publication guaranteed. HELLO!
The only problem I had with it was since my adviser dicked me over and still hasn't finished my thesis with me because she skipped most of our meetings at the end of last semester, I AM STILL WRITING MY THESIS. EDITING IT. FIXING ANNOTATIONS AND REFERENCES. Ouch! But it will get done. So I just worry taking on a serious writing project... on top of this serious APA writing project. Ouch. It will turn out fine.
Anyway, I've been thinking about what I want to write about and since I'm also in the second semester of an advanced anatomy and physiology course, I've been studying muscles up close and personal for like three weeks now and yesterday just had the huge muscle lab practical. So I was thinking about muscles.
This all might sound insane to you, but you know Emerson... the common thread running through everything, you can't go through life living part and particle... you have to live as part of the whole, then you'll be the Universe, have Divinity?
Well, as I woke up a thousand times last night because I'm sick I was thinking "Hey that's an interesting idea... the study of anatomy is sort of Emersonian". I mean I could point out a particular muscle, but it doesn't mean anything unless I know where it is RELATIVE to the other muscles in that compartment or around it. YOU KNOW?
This probably doesn't make any sense at all, in any way. But let me tell you it felt like a genius revelation at 12:35, 1:50, 2:27, 4:07 and 5:15.
I'm drinking some freaking delicious orange juice. It's the no sugar added, all natural tastes like fresh squeezed kind. Yum. Scotty has gotten me into the habit of drinking my orange juice with a hearty helping of crushed ice. I like it.
My throat is so sore, my ears hurt, my sinuses feel as though they are about to implode. Today is such a long day too. Starting at 8 a.m., bio lecture, then I have a math exam and lecture, then the philosophy course where I might start rambling about that anatomy and Emerson epiphany. That's usually the point when I am ready to drive back home and be done with classes for the day. But no. Right after philosophy I have to meet with my adviser so we can work on my thesis. On the revisions, I CAME UP WITH. She didn't even read it. Isn't that her job? I guess not haha.
Anyway, have a good Wednesday folks
