I like to travel. I constantly think about new countries, exotic places and forget about traveling in my native country.
Although this is a culture that is closer to me in spirit and is part of my story. I do not like fanciful words, but the way it is.
In Russia, with local tourism, things are not as good as, for example, in France. We have poorly developed railways, expensive flights, poor infrastructure. And the country is very big, so, living in Siberia, it is hard to go to St. Petersburg to see the beauty of the city.
It makes me sad. And for the summer I have a goal to go to small cities, where I spent a few hours on the train. It is good that I live in a suitable place for this.
In the photo I look at the famous fortresses of Krondstadt.

You make a good point. Just last night, a couple friends and I were talking about the large number of local places of possible interest that we have ignored exploring. We need to do more of this.

I've lived most of my life in NYC and Washington DC, and in both places have taken WAY too little advantage of the many cool things to do. Not that I didn't do cool things, but c'mon - 10 years in NY and I didn't once take the time to go to the Statue of Liberty? I'm sorry, France: I do appreciate you!
