It seems to be a pattern for me that the start of each year begins slowly in terms of reading; I guess I have to shake off my winter depression and such in order to focus before I get the ball properly rolling. But since we're already in March, I have to get back into the swing of things! For my third book this year, I've picked Night Train, by David Quantick.
The main plot: A woman wakes up on a mysterious train filled with the dead, with no memory of who she is or how she got there. And apparently it continues to get more creepy and mysterious from there!
Quantick is a British writer of both fiction and nonfiction, as well as a journalist and a screenwriter. Seems like he even won an Emmy for Veep. As far as I can tell, he has written seven novels, with Night Train being the sixth. This will be my first time reading any of his books, though, so if I enjoy it, I may have to check out the rest of his works of fiction!
