Friday is upon us once more! How has everybody been this week?
Generally speaking, I am still adjusting to a few new things in my life, and now also to being back here in SG land. I sometimes feel like I have only a specific amount of energy - I mean, technically, we all do, but mine can, on occasion, feel a bit more limited than average - and whenever new elements are introduced into my daily routines, it can shift my focus, and I end up spending more energy on some parts, causing other parts to be neglected. It's all a matter of balance and finding ways to redelegate said energy!
This week's highlights: On Monday, I visited and hung out with a friend for a few hours. We talked, played some card games, and made some more plans for the near future, including a potential day trip to Sweden this coming Monday and maybe a BBQ session down by the park tomorrow!
I've also been reading, as well as going for walks where I've taken a handful of photos, such as the ones below:

(I might share more of my photography eventually)
And today, I've hung out for a bit with the sobriety group A-Larm, which I mentioned last Friday. There's a pool table in their locale that we absolutely utilized, and a new buddy of mine brought his dog - Rust - the cutest 5-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier queen who loves cuddles and is currently learning some new tricks!
For the rest of the evening, I plan to finish the book I am reading. Then there's the aforementioned BBQ session tomorrow, and we'll just see what Sunday brings.
What does everyone else have planned for this weekend? While you think about the answer, enjoy this black metal "spiritual" from Zeal & Ardor!
