I mentioned last month that work hooked me up with a generous holiday bonus.
I went and got that coveted new laptop...
LOVE IT. Wasnt sold on the color at first (only one they had available), but its totally grown on me.
I'm still trying to figure out some things with iTunes. I need to move everything I got from my old iBook to that, and I'm not sure why iTunes is not recognizing CDs that I insert so that I can put them on my master catalog.
If anyone has experience with iTunes on a PC as opposed to a Mac, I am all ears.

This week Newsarama rolled out our staff of critics' choices for Best of 2008.
Totally random, they kicked things off with my choices. Special shout out to Spaz_Monkey and Oryon who also contributed!

January 3rd, I attended, along with trocc and FritzKD, an intimate little emotronic show by Harpoon at Record Breakers, a cool CD store in the building that houses Reggies Rock Club
It was cool, they performed in the sorta center area where the clerks usually operate.
Save for a couple technical glitches with the equipment, it was a rockin way to spend a chilly Saturday afternoon for about 30 minutes.

Me being the geek I am, Im really looking forward to this animated Woman Woman movie dropping soon on DVD.
Theres an excellent voice cast involved!

January 20th can't come soon enough, yo!
Getting a new bit of ink on Jan. 12th. The big deal on it is that it's the first time since I've been connected with SG here that I'm going with someone other than Patrick Cornolo. For that reason alone I'm anxious. I seen this guy's work, the results are there, I just hope it's a comfy ride, so to speak. As for what it is, I'll give you a hint...
