FRIDAY: The Thrills are a pretty dope act to catch live. An Irish bands with their heads in Sixties- and Seventies-era California. Not a bad way to go. This show was made all the better by the company I kept for the show: sweetavenue. Michelle rocks. blush

SATURDAY: Got my most ambitious tattoo to date, a Patrick Cornolo original on the outside of my right...

Thank you for the comment on the Cancer situation.

Luckly it was caught very early on and hasn't spread to other parts of her body. She is doing well and have TONS of support from family and friends, so far she is just really tired alot.

I'm sorry to hear that your dad wasn't able to beat it. I hope he put up a hell of a fight though..

I just refuse to be this dude's dormat that he uses to wipe his feet on all the time. I put up with it enough while we were togehter, and if he thinks I'm going to just sit quietly while he does it now, he's in for some serious fucking disappointment.

I'm outta here for the week. I'm off to Detroit for the Easter weekend. I've visited Michigan here and there since moving to Chicago in '99, but this'll be my first time in Detroit in years.

Remember what our president has brought upon this country.

Friggin' North Avenue's being worked on between now and July, and a bulldozer-sized jackhammer went to work on the street immediately outside my window this morning just after 6:30am. It was close enough to my room that shit on my wall was vibrating.

Not a cool wake-up call. mad
jennifer:

Three reasons why I may never buy a home in Illinois:

1) February
2) March
3) April

I expect winter conditions in November, December & January, but when we get that same weather when baseball season begins, it just sucks. I'm so ready for summer. I think that'll kick in around mid-July...
signalnoise:
illinois ... it's beautiful sometimes wink
sweetavenue:
summer will kick in mid-may or so at 95 degrees and 100% humidity! no spring, no fall, just freezing winter and hellish summer. ugh.

i'm looking forward to meeting, too. sorry i couldn't yesterday but i have sooo much homework...

One reason I actually believe in God is that I'm quite sure he has a lot of fun at my expense...

I'm going to see Pretty Girls Make Graves at the Bottom Lounge tonight. I'm dragging a guy from work who I think is relatively out of the loop on the alt scene these days, so that should be interesting. I think aeon is going...

I was doing some lunchtime errands today (downtown Chicago). Fucking got cold again. Springtime in the Windy City...

I walked passed City Hall and the good guys AND bad guys were out picketing over the gay marriage debate. Of course the intolerant conservatives are the bad guys in this case. The thing I find hysterical is that I find "traditional" marriage to be one of...
