Nerd post!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 1 comes out next week!!!! That totally caught me off guard. I only got to see it once in the movie theaters...but thats just how it goes with me and movies, I very rarely go see them. It's expensive, and a pain in the ass. HP 5 and 6 I saw twice each, but that was only because they were also showing it at the Imax with selected scenes in 3D.
So, I really need to see this movie a few more times before forming an established opinion of it. My initial opinion was mixed...it had some cool stuff, but it felt very....off. Like some of it dragged on, and even with the massive amount of information they cut it, it still felt a bit confusing and just not developed.
The score, on the other hand, is beyond amazing. I've been listening to Alexandre Desplat's masterpiece almost nonstop.
