Took a trip, to ease the pain.
I thought the bright lights of the city would make me smile again.
But in those lights, all I saw was your eyes.
And Im lost for a moment.

Cause on that plane back,
I saw the sunrise.
I saw birds in flight.
And I gained my sight.

The last time I left to get away from you,
How could I have known what Id learn?
I had lost myself in you so many times.
Then I knew what I had to do.

Cause on that drive home,
I saw the stars dance.
Snow fell on the road we shared.
And I gained my sight.
Somehow I knew it was gonna be all right.

I made a vow to myself,
Never to get wrapped up in you again.
So now Im strong.
I dont need you anymore.

And now I know its all gonna be all right.
