heaviness of heart

heavy heart
full of pain
i didn't know existed
within myself
what has brought this on,
and when will it end?
drown it out with booze,
get a smoke.
make it go away.
do anything
but don't deal with it.
at least not the right way.
feels like the rain
may have come
to clean the heaviness
away.
push it out of my mind.
don't let it
effect the fisade.
everyone loves it
when you lose,
don't let them know that
you are on the brink.
swallow it down,
tears come when
you are alone
and no one can
pass judegment.
