Holy Crap. I've only been in California for a week, and I'm completely enamored by the whole ordeal. It feels like I've been here for a few months, but in the best possible way.
The people are CalArts are wild! They've created this amazing environment where people can do pretty much whatever they feel like doing, all in order to create the best possible work from each student. It feels great to be part of such a community, and for the first time in my life I feel like I can be myself in public. I really like not having to wear a mask everywhere I go.
And hello, the weather is gorgeous!
