I stole this from Bellica, who in turn took it from others. I think it's a great idea..and, well, because I missed the majority of the previous week, this one will probably stay up a while:
Right people, time for something interesting and I want to see if this works. I am declaring SG Positivity Week. Too many people I know are having a shit time at the moment me included and instead of us getting all mopey I want everyone to do this and help spread the love and happiness SG wide.
This week everyone of you that reads this if you post a blog I want you to include the following at the top:
- Copy this explanation to the start of your blog.
- Write a list of five things you really love about yourself below the explanation.
- For every person that comments your blog return that comment and tell that person something you love about them and include the words "Brought to you by SG Positivity Week".
Hopefully this way everyone will come out of this week feeling a little happier than when they went in.
1. I have a really quirky sense of humor that I love.
2. My eyes are very pretty and my nose isn't too bad either...oh, and I've got a great rack.
3. I am really good at cheering people up and being a good listener.
4. I think things through before making rash decisions that may harm myself or others.
5. I am musical and artistic and am having a blast re-discovering that side of me.
Now that I have the warm fuzzies out of the way, it actually has been a REALLY fun past couple weeks. So far this week I have:
- Gotten dinner with my old roommate and a bunch of the people we used to work with.
- Re-connected with a really good old friend with a massively long phone call,
- Gotten into an orchestra
- Played my bassoon for the first time in 4 years.
- Contacted my old bassoon professor for advice and got a whole TON of love in return. He was the reason I made the decision to originally move to Columbus and pursue music. I have missed that man. He was an amazing mentor and an incredible friend.
- Read a really incredible inspiring book about living alone and loving it.
Tonight I will be heading out to Hounddog's/Havana, followed by spending tomorrow evening with a couple lovely people, catching the Buckeye game on Saturday, and then Sunday/Monday I will be heading out of town to watch my cousin DJ another special collaboration show.
Have a great weekend kids.

I have to spoiler this because the Oz loves nothing! But srlsy.... I love that you've always been so willing to let me invade your homespace when I need a couch to crash, and that you always will go out to eat with me, even if it's always Buca. And most of all, I love that you're able to be a female voice of reason in an otherwise unreasonable ocean of women in my life. And lastly... I love how you always try to violate the rules of "MINE!" by trying to call "MINE!" on Liz even though I had her first.
