Hmmm, well I haven't updated in about a week, which might be a record for me. I don't know...I used to enjoy writing journals a lot more than I do now. Probably because very few exciting things have happened to me lately. I really only want to share when it's something cool.
I had a fun week. Monday I went to see Paramore and The Starting Line with Trickynicki and I had a really good time. I love live music of all kinds. Tuesday and Wednesday were work and school. I am doing SOO much better in math. I just need a "reason" to do the math. When we were just doing equations with no purpose I was yanking my hair out. Now, we've moved onto compound interest and annuities and I am rocking them. Thursday I went out for a bit to a Habitat for Humanity fundraiser at a campus bar. I can totally get behind a fundraiser that involves eating pizza and drinking beer.
I am currently having a BLAST at work. Mostly because I get to be a giant bitch during contract negotiations with one of our clients. And because I have now convinced my boss that I am a saavy business-woman.
OH! And I have a whole bunch of short work weeks coming up. Which is AWESOME!! We have the 12th off for Veteran's day, then the 21st I only have a half-day, then I'm off the 22nd and 23rd. I know how incredibly lucky I am to be able to say this...I freaking LOVE my job.
Last night was not so fun. I went out with some friends from college..annd...it sucked. It's sad that sometimes I enjoy the friends I've met through here in the past few months more than I enjoy the people I've known for 6 years. Actually, that's not sad at all, because some of you rock my face! Long story short, I ended up coming home about an hour after I got there because I flipped into "panic attack mode". I had them all calling me this morning and asking if I was okay, if I was mad, if they did something wrong...the answer is always no...they just can't understand sometimes. So, I drove home, sat here and cried for a little while, and then bothered DevilsReject online for a couple hours until I could sleep. Jon is gone for the weekend and I can never sleep well when I'm in the house by myself. Even after I fell asleep, I woke up about every 2 hours on the dot, so I'm tired. And god, as girly as it sounds, I miss him when he's not here. Yes, I enjoy a day of quiet and a bed to myself so I can act like a princess once in a while, but just one day is plenty. Not three.
Watched the game today...YaY Buckeyes!! I was supposed to go to the game, but my dad gave himself severe food poisoning (message to all of you hunters out there...I don't care how tasty it is a little rarer...wild duck can carry E.Coli...COOK IT WELL!!!...it is poultry...would you eat your chicken still pink?), and he lives too far away for me to just bop over to his house and get the tickets and take someone else. Worked on a history midterm paper. Watched a movie. Considered working out, then decided sitting here and writing a blog would be more fun. Haha. God, I hate working out.
Now, I am watching scrubs and considering working a little more on the midterm paper. I'd LOVE to have it done this weekend so I don't have to do anything next weekend.
