I finally bought my plane tickets to Horrorfind Weekend 4 last night. Everything's in order, so I guess it's actually gonna happen!
To say I'm excited would be the understatement of the year and possibly the millennium. Two of the main guests are George Romero and Tom Savini, my lifelong idols. I've met Tom S. a couple times before, but I was only twelve and fourteen. He's the guy who invented modern gore makeup effects with Friday the 3th, Dawn of the Dead (1978), Creepshow, Killing Zoe, etc.
If you don't know already, George Romero is the main reason zombies are so fucking popular these days. He's the genius behind Night, Dawn, and Day of the Dead, and the forthcoming Land of the Dead.
Okay, I'm gonna stop before I go into fanboy hysteria.
I'm off to fulfill another day of production assistant bullshit on a movie that's really totally laughable when compared to anything mentioned above!
