I want to tell you about my snow experiences.
When I left Australia I had never seen snow in my life, ever. I didn't really think I was missing much, but would welcome the opportunity to frolic in said snow if I ever happened upon it. Since moving to the UK I've encountered snow twice! In a city they tell me it doesn't snow in very often, but I no longer believe them.
The first time it snowed was on Easter Sunday. I woke up at the crack of dawn to see little chunks of pretty white fluffy stuff falling from the sky outside our window. I looked at it for a while, relatively confused about what it was before I woke Matthew to confirm it - it was snowing. We got dressed frantically and went outside to be in it. This was the snow from Easter Sunday on our front lawn:
:
Little did I know at the time, this was a very shitty little piss of snow. It did not get any thicker then it is in the photo, but as it was London snow I thought this was as good as London got - seeings they apparently really didn't get snow all that much. A few weeks later I was shown how wrong I was, with REAL snow. Same deal as last time, I woke up at the crack of dawn to watch chunks of fluffy white stuff falling from the sky outside our window. I didn't really expect it to be any different from last time, but I went to the front door to check, and sure enough:

This was REAL snow. It was really on the ground. It was really fluffy and cold. And I was really excited.
We were able to make really awesome snowballs:

And we had a snowball fight for an hour at the front of our house, stealing snow from the cars parked across the street. We had a ball - of snow.
We also thought it was probably a good idea to take this opportunity to make ourselves our very own snowman:

We thought he was super cool, and he braved the heat that sent his snowy comrades to the grave and stuck around for two more days. It was very sad to see him go:

Just to note, I love snow! Fluffy, white, soft snow totally rocks the kasbah.

She's definitely a keeper. Archery is the best girlfriend I've ever had and the first one that I can really see spending my life with. I've never been happier.

I posted a bulletin on MySpace about my girlfriend with a Love Is In The Air music video. It's your fault.
