Ok, lets get over the shock that I'm updating twice in one week, let along two days in a row. I have to say, you know what grinds my gear, HDR (High Dynamic Range). For those of you unfamiliar it is a digital photo technique. I'm ok with some digital photo stuff, yeah its cool I get it, yeah it can make some amazing images I get it. However, don't replace a good shot that takes a few weeks of planning for lighting right time of day back ground, tonal range and many other variables with digital photo software. I get a three exposure photo for high lights, mid tones and shadows. SERIOUSLY though, don't pass off every thing you do as awesome because its a HDR shot. Shit pisses me off. I spent 4 years of my life learning to be a good photographer and use my degree for my job. Best way to get a good shot plan ahead, know what you want and capture the image in camera so you don't need to do post production work. Again time and place for everything, but I saw a artical that talked about three shots that were hard to light and one was HDR, that isn't hard to light that is bracket shooting and using post production software.
