Another day at work, another day closer to a weekend off. It's been cool and cloudy out and is suppose to remain that way till Saturday. But, it's supposed to be nice this weekend, so that works out well.
I will be watching Obama's speech to congress tonight. I'm hoping that real health care reform can get passed. I have even written my local politicians and the White House. Kept up with what's going on, been following the political blogs. I think in the end something will get passed, but it may end up being so watered down that it won't be the type of health care reform that we need. Tonight will either be the start of real health care reform or if he's speech doesn't really change anything, probably some form of watered down health care reform.
Still playing around with my camera and taking pictures of myself that I will eventually post here. Be it individual pics, min-sets or sorts or fuller sets. There is one part of me that wants to just let go and be willing to try all kinds of different things, even if it doesn't show me in my best light. I'm not sure if I really have a best light, but put myself out there warts and all. Try and post pictures that most men aren't willing to. I've noticed that for the most part, women are more willing to take chances and leave themselves vulnerable, especially in comparison to men for the most part. Men tend to be a bit more safer about the types of pictures they are willing to post. Of course, I've seen a ton more pictures of women here than men to begin with. However, I do think women bodies are just naturally more beautiful, so there are some pictures that women can try and still look great, while if men tried them, maybe it's not such a good idea.
On the other hand, there is a part of me that looks at the pictures I take of myself and thinks; eh no one really wants to see that anyway, so why even consider posting them. Plus, Im limited to what I can do anyway as I don't have a large place and dont know of places I could take pictures of myself outside my home. Especially since Im my own photographer and not a terrible creative one at that.
But, there is still that first part of me that wants to try different things, experiment and be willing to look foolish or not in the best of lights that would like to have some more space, options, even prompts of sorts to play with. Well, in thought, reality is usually a bit more muddled and uncertain.
For all the people that have thus far encouraged me and been extra kind, thanks. Ive been trying to get a bit more active myself here, but it can be difficult to find the time with work and other stuff.
Hope everyone or the very few people that might even take a look at my blogs has been having a wonderful day.
