End of summer? I suppose if you count a week of rain. Does feel different though. September lends itself to that. Fall has a sense of renewal for me, which is odd since it's the beginning of nature's hibernation. Then comes October, my favorite month (not because of my birthday, but there is that). The nights are longer and cool. Feels like shaking the sweat and heat of summer off. If I lived in more northern climates perhaps I might think differently. Problem is the only city in the States I can imagine myself living is Boston. Don't know why really. Just a feeling I have.
So I guess it's about time to kick out the chairs and actually do something. My mental sabbatical seems like it's coming to an end. Though an ending that's taken far too long.
